hello@truetales.co

Privacy.

This page explains what data truetales.co collects, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: analytics run only after you accept them, booking details exist only when you book a call, and your data is never for sale.

01 Who runs this site

truetales LLC

truetales.co is operated by truetales LLC, a Wyoming company. For visitors in the EU and EEA, truetales LLC is the data controller for everything described on this page. For anything data-related, one address is enough: hello@truetales.co.

02 Analytics

Only after you accept

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages earn their place. Before you make a choice on the consent bar, every analytics permission is set to denied and your visit stays uncounted. If you accept, Google Analytics runs with IP anonymization; if you decline, it stays off. Your choice is stored on your device, in your browser's local storage, and the bar stops asking.

Google retains analytics events for up to 14 months and processes them on our behalf. The data shows us pages and patterns, never a name.

Done. The bar will ask again on your next visit.

03 Booking a call

What the calendar collects

Calls are scheduled through Cal.com. When you book, we receive your name, your email address, and your answers to the booking questions. We use them to prepare the call, hold it, and follow up. They live in our Cal.com account and our email, for as long as the conversation between us is alive, and we delete them when you ask.

04 Email

When you write to us

Email to hello@truetales.co is hosted on Google Workspace. We keep correspondence for as long as it stays relevant to working together, and we delete it on request.

05 Hosting

Server logs

The site is served by Vercel. Like every host, Vercel keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, including IP addresses, for security and operations. We run no tracking of our own on top of them.

06 Where data lives

Processors, all named

Four companies process data for this site, and this is the complete list:

  • Google · analytics, after consent, and email hosting
  • Cal.com · call scheduling
  • Vercel · hosting and server logs
  • And that is the whole list · zero ad networks, pixels, or data brokers

All are US companies. For EU and EEA visitors, transfers rest on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

07 Your rights

One email does it

Under the GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your data, object to processing, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your local supervisory authority. Under California law you can ask what we hold, ask for deletion, and opt out of sale, though there is no sale to opt out of.

Send any of these to hello@truetales.co and you will have an answer within 30 days.

08 Changes

This page stays honest

If the site starts collecting something new, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.
